SAFE Haven for Cats is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter dedicated to finding homes for homeless cats and kittens, will be attending Unleashed's 5th annual Spring Fling! Founded in 1994, SAFE Haven for Cats is Raleigh’s no-kill shelter and low-cost spay/neuter clinic. Since opening, SAFE Haven has orchestrated the adoptions of more than 9,000 cats and kittens and spayed or neutered over 25,000 animals in it's clinic. As a nonprofit organization, SAFE Haven relies heavily on donations from the community to support its lifesaving work and programs. To maximize the percentage of every dollar going directly to the care of the cats, they have only nine full-time and three part-time paid staff members. All other work and love comes from dedicated volunteers.

The Goathouse Refuge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill animal sanctuary dedicated to providing cage-free care for cats regardless of age, medical issues or disposition until a permanent loving adoptive home can be found.
There aren’t many places in today’s world that offer ongoing, unconditional care to animals in need, but that’s exactly what's provide at the Goathouse Refuge.
"We are a cat sanctuary, a place where cats that have been abandoned or lost can be safe and warm and happy, where cats who have had to live at the margins of the modern world can find a place where they are welcome. Our goal is to connect every animal with a loving family who wants to share their life with a wonderful feline companion. Typically, 20 – 30 cats are adopted every month from our facility, and since we keep all of our cats up to date on their vaccinations and check-ups and make sure they lead interactive, social lives, adoptions from Goathouse Refuge are easy and effective. Since our founding in 2007, we’ve placed over 2,500 cats into loving, permanent homes. Unfortunately, not every cat is destined to be a typical pet. Some have medical issues that require daily care; some grew up as feral cats and don’t have the disposition for domestic life; and sometimes, there just aren’t enough homes to go around. But Siglinda Scarpa, who founded Goathouse Refuge years ago, believes every cat has the right to a life free from both danger and indifference. This is the philosophy we operate by at Goathouse Refuge, a no-kill shelter that serves two important roles: a stopover for cats on their way to permanent homes, and a permanent shelter for cats that just need a place they can call their own."

Cat Angels Pet Adoptions will be joining us for Spring Fling! Cat Angels Pet Adoptions is a cat and kitten rescue and adoption organization in Cary, NC.
"We are near Raleigh and Apex in the Triangle area of NC. We are a no-kill shelter. Our goal is to help homeless, abandoned and abused cats and kittens find safe, loving, permanent homes. While waiting for their forever homes, our cats and kittens live in a friendly, home-like environment."
Every cat and kitten available for adoption has been spayed or neutered, is completely vaccinated, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, has been de-wormed, flea treated and is micro-chipped.
Adopt one cat and save two. When you adopt from Cat Angels Pet Adoptions, you open a spot so that we can take another cat or kitten from a kill shelter. You save the cat you adopt and guarantee that a second cat will have a chance at a forever home in our no-kill shelter - for as long as it takes.
