We're excited to say Odin's Orphans will be joining us again for Spring Fling along with their dogs and puppies looking for homes! Odin's Orphans is a dedicated volunteer dog rescue organization serving Nash County, North Carolina. They are committed to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason - dogs in the local shelter at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect. Then, they place the dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their home and lives. We are wagging our tails as we happily announce, Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue will be attending our 2018 Spring Fling! Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to providing for the short and long term needs of abandoned or surrendered pugs. They give rescued pugs veterinary care, a nurturing foster environment, and permanent placement into a loving home. In addition, they offer education to the public on the special responsibilities of pug ownership and the need for domestic animal population control. Mid-Atlantic Pug Rescue is made up of a group of diverse individuals who have united for the purpose of rescuing pugs. Coming from many walks of life, they have agreed to donate their many and varied talents so that pugs everywhere can live out their lives with comfort, love and care!
