We're happy to say that All Breed Animal Rescue of the Carolinas is joining us for Spring Fling with their precious dogs and puppies available for adoption! Based in Apex, NC, All Breed Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to saving neglected, unwanted, stray or abused dogs in NC and surrounding areas and finding them happy, safe homes with new, loving families! ABARC was formed by Brittnay Thadani, who rescued her first dog when she was three years old! After having numerous debilitating back and shoulder surgeries, Brittany was forced to give up her job as a veterinary technician, but in June 2009, after helping to start programs with two other rescue groups, Brittany decided to form the nonprofit ABARC! “Rescue saved me” said Thadani. “Because I could no longer do what I loved to do, I felt useless. And then I found rescue.”
All Breed Animal Rescue makes a difference by offering adoption services (while fostering dogs in loving homes until placed with their forever family), working towards the common goals of saving dog’s lives and reducing pet overpopulation, educating the public (on the importance of adoption, spaying and neutering of pets, proper diet and regular vet visits), rehabilitation (ABARC's dogs often need physical, social or medical rehabilitation, minor to major medical/surgical needs), and their commitment to senior animals in shelters and dogs with physical disabilities or handicaps.
